PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Just a game into an already moved five game football season, Robert Morris is on pause. The Colonials second game Saturday at home against Monmouth postponed.
The RMU Department of Athletics announced Wednesday; the game is off due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Colonials program. The school said in a statement that the Big South Conference is working with both institutions to reschedule the game for a later date.
Robert Morris lost its opening game 36-16 at second ranked James Madison, a game tied at half. Colonials scheduled to play at Charleston Southern March 20, at Kennesaw State April 3 and Gardner-Webb at home on April 10.
