
According to 93.7 The Fan’s Dorin Dickerson, his former head coach at West Allegheny, Bob Palko is taking a coaching job with Penn State.
Palko, who also coached at Mt. Lebanon, won nine WPIAL titles while coaching high school football.
According to Penn State writer Sean Fitz, Palko will be the Director of High school Relations.
Palko is a WPIAL legend, winning eight of his titles at West Allegheny, where he coached for 24 years until 2018.
Both Dickerson and his own son, Tyler Palko, made it to the NFL.
He spent four seasons with Mt. Lebanon winning another WPIAL title and a state title.
He retired after this past season due to health reasons.
