Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang are two of the highest paid players on the Penguins but they’re also brining in the cash through Instagram.
A new study from OnlineGambling.com shows that Malkin lands in the top five for money earners and Letang is in the top 20.
Malkin has 735,000 followers and reportedly makes $39,800 a post!
Meanwhile Letang, with 305,000 followers brings in about $16,500 with each post.
Alex Ovechkin ranks number one with 1.6 million followers and makes $88,300 a post followed by the Devils’ P.K. Subban with 1 million followers and makes $55,700 with the Oilers’ Connor McDavid’s 910,000 followers earning him $49,300.
Leafs star Auston Matthews comes in fifth with 705,000 followers and $38,100 a post.
When it comes to sports as a whole, soccer stars dominate the top of the overall list with 224,800,000 million followers pulling in $1.2 million per post!
LeBron James is fifth overall with 64,200,000 followers and makes $347,000 a post.
