It's no secret Odell Beckham's brief but spectacular Giants career famously ended on a sour note.
Apparently there's still some hard feelings.
The Giants omitted the two-time second-team All-Pro from an informal poll asking fans to pick the best quarterback, running back, and wide receiver in franchise history, with five options for each position.
Beckham, despite ranking in the top five among pass-catchers in franchise history in receptions, yards and touchdowns, was not offered as a voting option. The nominees at wide receiver were Amani Toomer, Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, Sterling Shepard, and Plaxico Burress.
Giants fans, and at least one Giants reporter, were quick to register their disbelief.
The Giants sent Beckham to the Browns in a trade in March 2019, a deal that seemed unfathomable only a couple years earlier after Beckham broke out as a superstar performer with a knack for one-hand catches -- and off-field drama. The former LSU standout's production declined amid a string of injuries in his final seasons with the Giants, while the team struggled to chart a new path beyond the Eli Manning-Tom Coughlin era.
