Penn State athletics has 11 more COVID cases

STATE COLLEGE (93.7 The Fan) — The Penn State athletics department has reported 11 more positive COVID-19 tests in its latest wave, according to a report from Jake Aferiat of the Daily Collegian.

The testing period ran from Oct. 24-30 and saw the application of 1,333 tests.

As of now, there have been 176 total positive cases at Penn State out of 11,259 tests conducted.

The school released the following statement on the matter: "We expect our student-athletes and staff to follow University requirements and guidelines for limiting the spread of COVID-19, including wearing masks, practicing social distancing, washing their hands regularly and not gathering in large groups.”
