PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) After the infamous firing of their head football coach, Eric Kasperowicz, the Pine-Richland School Board could be ready to hire his replacement.
On Monday, the Pine-Richland School Board sent out an email to families that a special board meeting was being held on Wednesday, June 2, and the focus is to “take action” regarding a recommended varsity football head coach.

Other potential positions will also be discussed at the meeting, set to take place at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.
Kasperowicz and his entire coaching staff were informed via email that their contracts would not be renewed at Pine-Richland, despite four WPIAL titles and two state championships in eight years.
Since the termination in mid-April, Kasperowicz has since filed a lawsuit against Pine-Richland, hoping to “disprove lies” and return his reputation.
