Pirates players, coaches, and staff will be teaming with Pirates Charities and local community groups to help those in need during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"This holiday season, we will use our time to continue to find opportunities with our players and coaches to give back to our nonprofit friends and the Pittsburgh community," said Pirates President Travis Williams. "While we may not be able to host in-person events, we wanted to have our own take on Friendsgiving and raise funds to help those in need throughout the area. The Friendsgiving campaign is an extension of our season-long Family Forever initiative, one that made a significant impact in our community during a time of such uncertainty."
