Termarr Johnson launched a pitch into orbit during a high school game and was jogging toward home when the pitcher gave him a low five.

“I can’t believe this is where we are, said Fan Morning Show host Colin Dunlap who pointed out that while he is a fan of sportsmanship, these kids are not nine-years-old.

“Talk to him after the game if you want,” added Dunlap.

Fellow host Chris Mack says if he was on the pitcher’s team, he would want to know why he did it and would question his competitiveness.

“I would be searching for some sort of reason,” said Mack. “This is competition, you want to beat the other side.”

“No answer would suffice,” added Dunlap. “The only good reason is this, he and I shared a hand transplant together and the only way we can keep living is after he hits a home run, we slap five, that’s the only reason he could give me that would ever work.”

Dunlap says if he was the team’s coach he would go so far to take him out of the game.

“You gotta wonder if he’s giving it all he has,” added Dunlap.

After the game, in the handshake line, is when you give congratulations, not before the player can even cross home plate.
