PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Pitt continues its transformation of its basketball roster, adding a guard from Oregon State on Monday as reported by George Michalowski of the Portal Report.
6', 190-pound guard Damarco Minor averaged 9.8 points, 5.1 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals in one season with the Beavers. He had 22 points and 8 rebounds in a conference tournament game against Pepperdine. He had 15 points and four assists against Gonzaga and 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists against Nebraska.
Minor began his career in JUCO, named the Division II National Player of the Year and leading South Suburban College in Illinois to a national championship averaging 20.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game with 112 steals. The Chicago native played two years at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, as a sophomore named to the conference All-Newcomer team averaging 14.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and as a junior was First Team All-Ohio Valley Conference at 15.5 points and 8.5 rebounds.
He is the fourth player to commit to the Panthers for the 2025-26 season.
