PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The ACC released the conference basketball schedule as the Panthers will play their first conference game Wednesday, December 16 at Miami.

The home opener is Tuesday night, December 22 against the Louisville Cardinals with Notre Dame, Florida State, Syracuse, Duke, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, NC State, Clemson and Wake Forest all at the Petersen Events Center.

Due to state and local COVID restrictions, Pitt will have a limited capacity of 1,250 at the Pete.  Similar to football, that number includes players, coaches, staff, refs, families and venue personnel, so the actual number of tickets to the public will be less.

Pitt will accommodate approximately 350 students, which includes the band and spirit squads.

"We are excited to have our conference schedule set as well as a plan that will enable families, the Oakland Zoo, our loyal donors and fans the opportunity to join us at the Petersen Events Center," said head coach Jeff Capel in a statement. "This season is going to look different in nearly every way, but it is going to be a great opportunity for our program to compete and grow in the face of adversity."
