PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Pitt's recruiting class up to 13 now after Ohio offensive lineman Ryan Baer made a verbal commitment on Thursday.

Ryan Baer from Eastlake, Ohio, near Cleveland, had offers from Michigan State, West Virginia, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska and Virginia.  He's the first four-star recruit in the 2022 class and stands 6'7", weighing 320 pounds.


Baer is the first player from Ohio to commit and third offensive tackle joining 6'5", 280-pound Isaiah Montgomery from Virginia and Ja'Kavion Nonar from Belle Glade, Florida.  Nonar is also 6'7".  He's ranked by 247 Sports as the 30th best tackle in the nation and 13th best player from Ohio.
