PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The transfer portal opened on April 7 and for the first four days it was all about Pitt basketball players from 2025-26 entering the transfer portal. That has changed.
Now a few days later Pitt has the eighth best transfer portal class according to 247sports.com.
The highest ranked player is Naithan George from Syracuse, joined by Jalil Bethea from Alabama, North Carolina’s Jonathan Powell and Paris, France native Dominique Diomande, who spent one season at BYU.

Only Louisville, ranked number one overall, is a higher ranked ACC team than Pitt. The other schools currently ahead of the Panthers-Texas, Tennessee, UCLA, Iowa State, Cincinnati and Oregon.
