PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi questioned whether his team was getting the proper respect last week. Following a pair of blowout road wins, the Panthers are back in the AP Top 25.

Pitt emerges as number 23 this week after wins at Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech by a combined 52 points.  The Panthers are 5-1 overall and the only unbeaten team in the ACC Coastal at 2-0.

It’s the Panthers best start to the season since the first under Pat Narduzzi when they started 6-1.  Pitt lasted ranked three weeks into the 2020 season.

Along with showing up in the rankings, quarterback Kenny Pickett is showing up in the Heisman race.  Senior Kenny Pickett is top five among quarterbacks in nearly every category and has 21 touchdowns to one interception this year.
