Evgeni Malkin left off another top 100 list

The disrespect is laughable at this point

Another top 100 list, another show of disrespect for Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin.

ESPN asked over 50 broadcasters, reports and more to rate who they think will be the best players in the NHL this season.

And of course, Malkin was snubbed.

Sidney Crosby is the top-ranked Penguins player at 23rd overall.

He is followed by defensemen Erik Karlsson (41) and Kris Letang (56). Winger Jake Guentzel rounds out the Penguins at 71.

No Malkin.

In his mid-30s, Malkin averaged a point a game last season and is a point-leader in the NHL early in the season.

"You're polling the wrong 50 people if Evgeni Malkin is not on this list," said Adam Crowley on the Fan Morning Show.

Malkin was snubbed on the all-time list a few years back when the league celebrated its 100th anniversary.

You're telling me players like Jacob Trouba and Mathew Barzal are better than Malkin?

Rookie Connor Bedard only played his first game last week and he ranks 88!

This will likely light a fire under Malkin, who should in no way, be snubbed from this list.
