Wedding bells are in the air for Penguins forward Jake Guentzel.
The Penguins announced via social media on Wednesday, that the winger recently married his longtime girlfriend Natalie Johnson.
The couple get engaged in October of last year.
Guentzel’s bride is also an athlete. She played midfield for the University of Omaha between 2014-2017, earning serval academic and athletic honors while attending her hometown university.
Guentzel, also a native of Omaha, NB played in 56 games for the Penguins last season after missing a large portion of the 2019-2020 season due to injury.
He had 23 goals and 34 points and was a plus seven on the ice.
Some fans on Twitter had some interesting questions about the possibility of half off milkshakes.
