PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Pens defenseman Kris Letang will miss around four weeks with a fractured foot. That stretch started with the Stanley Cup 10-year reunion game against the New York Rangers on Saturday.

The 38-year-old had played 50 games this season with three goals and 22 assists and was a plus three.

“I've said it before and will say it again, you know injuries come up,” said Pens head coach Dan Muse. “It's the next-man-up and taking those minutes. It's an opportunity for guys."

If there is a positive, it’s in the timing. The league goes into a three week break for the Olympics at the end of next week.
