Penguins announce lineup for second preseason game

Sam Poulin

PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) The Pittsburgh Penguins are hitting the road to Buffalo for their second preseason game of 2021, and are taking a different group of players with them.

A day prior to facing off against the Sabres, the Penguins announced what players would be suiting up for them in Buffalo.

A large group of new faces, but there are some consistancies in Penguins' lineups from game one to game two.

Top prospects Nathan Legare and Sam Pulin are the most notable names to appear on both lineups.

The two are in the thick of fighting for a spot in the NHL and these preseason games are a perfect way for them to get noticed.

Legare especially looked greatly improved in game one with a new foot speed and still a lethal shot.

Some changes include new faces for the defensive lineup and two different goalies.

Casey DeSmith and new arrival Louis Domingue will tend net for the Penguins in game two.
