General Manager Ron Hextall has dealt forward Brock McGinn and a 2024 third-round draft pick for defenseman Dmitry Kulikov from the Anaheim Ducks.

McGinn, along with defenseman Mark Friedman both cleared waivers on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old McGinn had 10 goals and six assists in 60 games this season. He had one assist this week against Nashville, his first point since December 22.

The 32-year-old Kulikov has three goals and 12 assists in 61 games this year.

On a bad Ducks team, Kulikov was a -11 on the ice.

The Penguins began the season as the oldest team in the league and after the trade deadline, they got even older.
