Pens Select Bill Zonnon with 22nd pick

After trading the 12th pick to the Flyers, the Penguins added two first rounders at picks 22 and 31.

With the 22nd pick, Pittsburgh selected Bill Zonnon, an 18 year-old Forward who played for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.

Zonnon scored 28 goals and tallied 55 assists in 64 games. His 55 assists led all Huskies skaters. His 83 points ranked second on the team. In the playoffs, Zonnon tallied 16 points with 8 goals and 8 assists in 13 games.

Rouyn-Noranda traded the Montreal native to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. Zonnon will play there next season. He has scored 62 goals and 118 assits, giving him 180 points in 195 QMJHL games.
