Roethlisberger joins Penguins for practice

Ben Roethlisberger in Kansas City for his last career game
Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) Maybe Ben Roethlisberger isn't done playing for the black and gold.

Not even a full month after announcing his retirement from the NFL, Big Ben has suited up for a practice session with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback threw on some skates, shoulder pads, gloves, and a visor-less helmet with his No. 7.

Add on a yellow practice jersey and the 6-foot-5 QB stood towering over his fellow Pittsburgh teammates.

He posed for a photo with Kris Letang, Sidney Crosby, and Evgeni Malkin.

In one single picture the four men represent multiple championships, future Hall of Fame status, and a lifetime of memories for all Pittsburgh sports fans.

Maybe he took lessons from the Watt brothers who grew up around the game of hockey in Wisconsin.
