Joseph spent most of the past season down in the AHL with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He ended his AHL season with 10 goals, 23 assists, and 33 points through 61 games. His 10 goals led all the defensemen on the team.

He was called for four games this past season for the Penguins, only recording seven shots. He has 20 total games under his belt between the past two seasons including 1 goal, 4 assists, and 5 points.

With the success Joseph has had through his 136 AHL games, the hope is that he can recapture his form from past season and have a positive contribution on the defense rotation.
