After Frazier, who will be traded by the Pirates next?

The first trade by the Pirates before the trade deadline on July 31 is done. Adam Frazier is heading to Kansas City in exchange for infielder with Triple-A Omaha, Cam Devanney.

The Post-Gazette’s Noah Hiles says that the 28-year-old Devanney, who has been hitting a career best at the plate in Triple-A, is the best return they could get for the 33-year-old utility player, Frazier.

Now that the first trade had happened, how likely is it that some other players will be dealt.

Joe Starkey got Hiles’ thoughts and some may surprise you.

Hiles says that there is a 100 percent chance that shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa is dealt before the deadline and that is where Devanney comes in.

Hiles calls Devanney a “lottery ticket” and will fill in after IKF is dealt and they’ll see if he can keep his out bat going in the MLB.

Other players odds of being dealt, according to Hiles:

Outfielder Bryan Reynolds 15%

Starting Pitcher Mitch Keller 75%

Third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes 60%

“There’s the newsy one for me,” said Starkey after Hiles gave such a high percentage.

Hiles says he’s heard from his sources that if Hayes is going to be dealt, now would be the time to do it.

Top pitching prospect Bubba Chandler – 0%

If the Pirates want to get a good bat, Chandler likely won’t be part of that package.

Reliever David Bednar 70%

Reliver Dennis Santana 80%

Catcher Joey Bart 20%

Catcher Henry Davis 0% - While he hasn’t lived up to the 1st overall pick, Davis is the best catcher in the Pirates’ organization and he’s Paul Skenes’ catcher.

Paul Skenes negative 50 million % chance he’s dealt this year.

Hiles says it will depend on the Pirates future success or lack there of that will determine how much longer Skenes is with the Pirates.
