In Pittsburgh’s right field on Thursday afternoon, Los Angeles Dodgers’ Mookie Betts made a very Roberto Clemente-like play.
Ka’ai Tom sent a fly ball out to right forcing Betts to make a shoestring catch.
Erik Gonzalez took off from third base with Betts’ back turned after making the catch.
Betts quickly turned around and threw a one-hop laser to catcher Austin Barnes who tagged Gonzalez out.
