The Clemente Museum is one of the unique treasures of Pittsburgh.
The museum, located in Lawrenceville, features artifacts, photos and more that visitors can see and learn about the player and man that Roberto Clemente was.
The museum's 12 annual fundraiser is scheduled for September 9, with several one-of-a-kind items currently up for auction.
Auction items include a signed Sidney Crosby bat, signed Al Oliver jersey, signed Rob Gronkowski Tampa Jersey, a signed Clemente museum baseball from Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder (a big supporter of the museum) and more.
All the funds raised through the auction will go toward supporting the museum.
The museum tells 93.7 The Fan, they want to build an elevator to make the area more accessible to all visitors.
Tickets for the fundraising event at the museum are available here.
Live music, special guests (including former Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli) and some of the nation's top pizza chefs will be on hand for the event celebrating the Clemente museum and his legacy.
