PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) The Pittsburgh Pirates announced that infielder Tucupita Marcano has been activated from the COVID-19 injured list and placed back on the 40-man roster.
To make room for Marcano on the roster, the Pirates have designated infielder Yu Chang for assignment.
Chang played 18 games with the Pirates and collected seven hits in 42 at bats for a .167 batting average.
Before his injury, Marcano appeared in 19 games knocking 16 hits in 61 at bats for a .262 batting average.
