Pirates sent centerfielder Jarrod Dyson to the Chicago White Sox for international slot money as first reportedly by RADIO.COM MLB Insider Jon Heyman.

The 36-year-old Dyson signed with the Pirates this offseason for two million dollars to fill the spot left by the Starling Marte trade.

Dyson hit .157 with a .218 OBP and a negative WAR in 21 games.

Converted shortstop Cole Tucker likely will get most of the reps in centerfield.  Pirates are in Milwaukee tonight at 8:10 on 93.7 The Fan.
