Former Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has entered the fray as a supporter of Heyward.

When asked what constitutes a “team-first” player, Heyward said they wouldn’t take their pads off and leave in the middle of a game.

A clear shot at Brown’s odd end to his NFL career, Heyward said that that action would not have happened in Pittsburgh.

Brown saw the video of Heyward saying that and decided to give it some love; Brown quote tweeted the video and said he hopes Heyward can “make the Steelers great again.”

There has been a lot of talk recently about “me-first” players in the Steelers locker room and none have been more notable than Brown.

The athlete turn music artist is obviously keeping close tabs on his former teammates and is willing to jump in on the “me-first” argument.
