PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Another injury pop-up for the Steelers this week, before the Patriots game it was Najee Harris with a knee injury and now it's receiver Diontae Johnson dealing with a knee injury. This as TJ Watt practices full in attempting to return.
Late on Wednesday, Watt was cleared by an independent neurological consultant and was taken out of concussion protocol.
The Steelers receiver did not practice Wednesday after going full on Tuesday. Johnson talked to the media after practice on Tuesday and there was no mention of dealing with anything. Meanwhile Harris returned to a full practice and said the knee is fine for him to play against the Colts.
Guard Isaac Seumalo did not practice again on Wednesday as he continues to deal with a shoulder injury. Seumalo missed most of the practice time last week and then played in the game against New England.
Limited on Wednesday:
· LB Elandon Roberts-who said he will be fine to play
· DT Keeanu Benton (oblique)
· OLB Alex Highsmith (neck)
Full practice:
· Harris and Watt
· S Damontae Kazee (ankle)
· DT Cam Heyward (groin)
Kenny Pickett did not practice, but was already ruled out for the game on Saturday.
