The National Aviary, which told us the pigeons were there on the first place to feed on grass seed, will likely not be on the field like they were for victories against the Tampa Bay Bucs and New Orleans Saints.
The Aviary tells The PM Team’s Andrew Fillipponi that the later kickoff means the birds will have already eaten by the time the game kicks off at 4:25.
They add they’ll have already eaten enough for the day and will be “settling in for the night.”
The Steelers are 2-0 when the pigeons descend on the field.
0-2 when they’re not.
