Before the Steelers beat the Ravens on Sunday at Heinz Field, a lot of people, including former teammate Ryan Clark, were saying that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was done and that it was time for the veteran to step aside.

Then the game happened, with Roethlisberger taking over the fourth quarter to help the Steelers get by their heated rival once again.
Former offensive coordinator Todd Haley spent six seasons with Roethlisberger and he tells Ron Cook that he isn’t one of those people that believe Ben is done.
Haley says that it was going to take time for the offense to click with a new offensive coordinator, offensive line coach and several new players on the line, including a rookie center in Kendrick Green.
“It looked like a lot of guys, doing their own thing, which as a quarterback, that’s the last thing you want and that game against the Ravens, it looks like everyone was on point,” said Haley. “Ben still has it, he can play, he just needs guys to be doing what their supposed to be doing when their supposed to be doing it.”
Haley says that doesn’t mean Roethlisberger hasn’t made mistakes, but expecting everyone around him to gel right away wasn’t realistic.
Listen to the audio above as Haley explains how with Roethlisberger releasing the ball so quickly, his offense has no room for error.
