PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Cleveland tailback Nick Chubb carted off the field after a gruesome leg injury suffered early in the second quarter of the Browns-Steelers game.

It was after a Steelers turnover with the Browns at the Steelers seven-yard line, the Cleveland running back ran up the middle and was hit low by linebacker Cole Holcomb and right on the leg by safety Minkah Fitzpatrick. As both Chubb and Fitzpatrick initially laid on the field, the replay showed Fitzpatrick’s hit bent back Chubb’s leg causing a knee injury that knocked him out of the game.

Chubb was running through the Steelers defense, already with 64 yards on 10 carries. Fitzpatrick came over to talk to Chubb as he was being loaded onto a cart. Steelers offensive players Najee Harris and George Pickens came out and as the cart drove across the field many Steelers fans gave the Browns tailback a standing ovation.
