The Steelers made a move Saturday before their week 2 game against the New England Patriots.
Delontae Scott, an outside linebacker, was elevated from Steelers practice squad to their Active/Inactive Roster.
Scott has only played one game for the Steelers in 2021 and was originally signed to the practice squad early last season.
He took 7 defensive snaps and 2 special teams plays; he recorded no stats in his only game.
Scott played his college ball with SMU for five years finishing with 97 tackles and 18 sacks over 40 games.
The elevation most likely a result of David Anenih, who was signed off the Titans practice squad, being on the inactive list for this Sunday.
Delontae is expected to be reverted back to the practice squad on Monday. As of now the team has six players on the inactive list.
