PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth will attempt to return from a hamstring injury by going through practice on Wednesday. The Steelers starter has been out October 1 with a hamstring injury.

Freiermuth has eight receptions this season, two for touchdowns. The 25-year-old has 21 days to show he's ready or be lost for the rest of the season. There is hope he would be able to return Sunday against the Browns.

"It's big. It puts even more pressure on the defense. You can't double, you can't cover everybody. Pat works the middle, me and GP works the outside. If they try to stop the outside, Pat is going to tear up the middle."

Steelers also brought back defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko to the practice squad after releasing him earlier this week. They also added linebacker Tyler Murray to the practice squad with two linebackers out for the season.
