Steelers fans are holding their breath after Cam Heyward suffered and apparent injury.
Fan reporters Jeff Hathhorn and Josh Rowntree at the Steelers last day of Training Camp at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, the defensive tackle went down with an injury during the team drill known as "seven shots."
Hathhorn and Rowntree speculate it is an ankle injury.
Rowntree says the ankle was iced down and Heyward was walking on the sidelines some but was then carted off the field.
Head Coach Mike Tomlin isn't scheduled to speak after practice on Thursday, since he already talked before practice.
That mean we may not know the extend of Heyward's injury until Saturday night when the Steelers face the Jaguars in the second preseason game in Jacksonville.
Tomlin said during his press conference that he expected his healthy players to see some playing time.
It looks like Heyward's first participation of the preseason may be in jeopardy.
