Steelers defensive captain Cam Heyward has returned to practice.
He was back at practice on Thursday.
He remains on the Reserve/Injured list and the team has 21 days to activate him.
If he is not activated during that time, he has to sit out the remainder of the 2023 season.
Heyward suffered a groin injury during the team's Week One loss to the San Francisco 49ers at home.
He had surgery to repair a muscle.
It's unlikely Heyward will return this Sunday and then the Steelers have a Thursday night game at home against the Titans.
They then play the Packers on November 11 to finish up three straight home games.
