The Steelers may have locked up their star left outside linebacker for years to come, but they may be without their starter on Sunday when they play the Bills.
Second year LB Alex Highsmith is questionable with a groin injury.
The good news is after not practicing on Thursday, Highsmith when full on Friday.
If Highsmith can’t play, Melvin Ingram III and Jamir Jones will have to pick up the slack.
The Steelers are relying on Highsmith to improve in his second year after Bud Dupree signed with the Tennessee Titans in the offseason.
In other injury news, wide receiver James Washington was limited with a finger injury.
Center Kendrick Green and defensive end Tyson Alualu went full after dealing with injuries earlier in the week.
