Rumors of JuJu Smith-Schuster leaving Pittsburgh for a market like New York or Los Angeles have been swirling since the end of the season, but the entire time, the wide receiver has said he wants to stay in Pittsburgh.
And his latest comments seem to reaffirm that.
On Tuesday, former teammate of the recently released J.J.
Watt, DeAndre Hopkins posted a photo of both of them in Arizona Cardinals uniforms with the caption "Let's finish what we started…"
Since being released by the Texans last week, many teams have been reportedly interested in Watt including the Steelers and Browns.
Pittsburgh is certainly an incising landing spot for Watt, since it would team him up with his two brothers T.J. and Derek.
And Smith-Schuster wanted to make sure J.J. remembers that.
Commenting on Hopkins' post, the free agent wide receiver said (first noticed by Steelers Wire), "come play with your brothers lol."
While it possible Watt could join his brothers in Pittsburgh, he would need to do so on the cheap and while the goal every year is to make it to the Super Bowl, Watt may have a better chance with a team like Green Bay.
It was also reported Tuesday that Watt seriously considering signing with the Browns.
