PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) On the last day for top-30 visits, the Pittsburgh Steelers played host to Liberty University quarterback Malik Willis.
The Steelers and Willis have been tied to each other for a number of weeks now and today was a new chapter in their partnership.
Head coach Mike Tomlin has taken a particular interest in Willis.
Tomlin went to Liberty’s Pro Day to watch Willis, after keeping a close eye on the quarterback during the 2022 Senior Bowl.
He may have invited multiple quarterbacks to dinner, but Willis joined that list.
It’s no secret that the Steelers have taken a great interest in drafting a quarterback, and Willis often ranks as the top quarterback in the 2022 Draft.
Willis joins Kenny Pickett, Matt Corral, Sam Howell, and Desmond Ridder as quarterbacks that have been invited to Pittsburgh to visit.
