Can Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett be “fixed?”

According to at least four different offensive minds in the NFL say yes.

That’s from CBS Sports’ Aditi Kinkhabwala, who joined the PM Team Thursday afternoon.

“Four different offensive minds in the NFL that I trust implicitly and feel very strongly about, all four talked about everything around him and not him,” said Kinkhabwala.

That is good news for Steelers fans, since it seems like it will be Pickett’s job to lose in 2024.

After an injury took him out and the Mason Rudolph went 3-0. The team continued to ride his hot hand.

So, what would it look for Pickett to be “fixed”

“He looks like one of the better quarterbacks in the league, even a top half of the league guy, because right now, he’s bottom couple,” said Chris Mueller.

Mueller says that means 24 touchdowns and only seven interceptions.

“Everything around Pickett” was mainly offensive coordinator Matt Canada, who was fired in mid-season.

As Mueller points out though, Rudolph went 3-0 using Canada’s plays, even though he was gone.

Another issue that is all on Pickett, is missing wide-open receivers on big plays.

Andrew Fillipponi says it’s known around the league that Pickett was put in a bad situation having to play with Canada as his OC.

Poni says seeing Rudolph being able to have success with the same playbook and saying things like he didn’t learn anything from watching from the sidelines left a bad taste in his mouth.
