Rapoport: Rodgers '50/50' play against Bears

According to a report, Aaron Rodgers is going to try to play this coming Sunday against the Bears, despite a broken bone in his left wrist.

On Good Morning Football, on the NFL Network Monday, Ian Rapoport said, “my understanding, has told people close to him that he'll be back very soon.”

Rodgers reportedly does not want to miss any playing time and is trying to do what he can to play in Chicago.

“I know it seems crazy because he broke a bone in his wrist, but it is a left wrist,” added Rapoport. “If he's able to grip, if he's able to receive the ball on the snap, it is actually possible that Rodgers could play this week.”

Rapoport adds that it’s “50/50” that Rodgers will play in Chicago.

Rodgers was knocked out of the game on Sunday at the end of the first half and Mason Rudolph played the entire second half.

The 4-time MVP was seen with his left hand in his pocket after the game, congratulating teammates after the 34-12 win against Cincinnati.

Rodgers was hit a couple of times during the final drive of the first half, two of those illegally. The 41-year-old has been durable, playing 99% of the snaps. In the game, Rodgers was 9-15 for 116 yards and a touchdown to Kenneth Gainwell.
