The Steelers are reportedly signed a free agent linebacker.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero says Pittsburgh has agreed to a contract with former Washington Commanders LB Cole Holcomb to a three-year deal, pending a physical.

The 26-year-old’s 2022 season was cut short by a foot injury, playing in only seven games.

But, Holcomb recorded 69 total tackles last year with one tackle for a loss, one quarterback hit and one pass defended.

Over his career, Holcomb has 239 total tackles and 4.5 sacks, all with Washington. He’s started in 48 games for the Commanders.

Holcomb will likely take over for Robert Spillane, who has a reported deal with the Raiders.

Pelissero calls the move “a big addition to Pittsburgh’s defense.”
