PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) Just the day before the team was set to arrive at St. Vincent for camp, the Pittsburgh Steelers have released Trey Edmunds.
According to Adam Schefter, a source has confirmed that the running back/full back will be released by the Steelers.
Edmunds played four seasons with the Steelers but only appeared in 21 games.
His busiest season came in 2019 where he played in 11 games and carried the ball 22 times for 92 yards.
In 2021, Edmunds appeared in a pair of games without picking up a rush.
Over his five year career, Edmunds has played in 37 games for 140 total yards and a single touchdown.
