According to a report, the Steelers won't have to cut Kendrick Green, because they've made a trade.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Green has been traded to the Houston Texans.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says it's for a 2025 sixth-round pick.
Green has been involved in trade rumors that past few days.
He started at guard in the final preseason game, due to injures and he even was used at fullback at times this past summer.
Green was drafted by the Steelers in third-round of the 2021 draft.
He struggled at center over the 2021 season and didn't get any playing time last season after starting all 15 games his rookie year.
He was a backup and the starters all stayed healthy through the 2022 season.
