According to a report, Steelers offensive lineman Trai Turner will not face a suspension after he reportedly spit on Raiders linebacker Marquel Lee.
While Steelers coach Mike Tomlin defended Turner after the game, saying “somebody spit in his face,” video clearly shows that Turner also did the same.

While Turner will not be suspended, he could still face a fine, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Both Tuner and Raiders defensive lineman Solomon Thomas were penalized with unsportsmanlike conduct early in the fourth quarter on Sunday, but it was Turner who was ejected from the game after officials saw him spit on Lee.
Tomlin said after the game that Turner was retaliating after he was spit on first.
“For him to respond the way he responded, what transpired had to transpire, and I was stating that case to them. I didn't believe he did enough to be kicked out of the football game. That was just my opinion,” said Tomlin.
B.J Finney took over for Turner at right guard for the rest of the game.
Turner signed with the Steelers after the team released veteran David DeCastro, who has been dealing with significant injuries.
