We have what will likely be the last update on T.J. Watt's injury on Monday.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter has more details on Watt's pectoral injury.
Schefter says Watt will get a second and third opinion from doctors on the severity of his injury.
"If doctors determine that Watt needs surgery, his season likely would be over," said Schefter.
If he is able to avoid surgery, Schefter says that he could rehab and possibly return in six weeks.
CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones reported earlier that it is believed Watt did not suffer a full pec tear and that he "will be able to return after sitting a month or so."
Watt was at the Steelers facility on the South Side Monday but didn't talk to media.
Those in the locker room said Watt seemed to be in good spirits.
In 2019 Watt's Brother J.J. had a serious pec tear in Week Eight, but was able to return for the playoffs, months ahead of normal rehab.
