PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) Who will be the next quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers?
It’s the question taking over the city and the answers have been all over the board.
From veterans like Aaron Rodgers to using the teams’ first round pick on someone like Kenny Pickett or Malik Willis.

Former Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier joined the PM Team on Friday and was asked about the future of the quarterback position.
“I wouldn’t be surprised or upset if we get Jimmy [Garoppolo],” Shazier said. “Jimmy’s been to multiple Super Bowls, he’s won Super Bowls… and has experience of winning consistently in the playoffs.”
While he may not have been a starter for either run, Garoppolo is a two-time Super Bowl champion from his time with the New England Patriots.
Garoppolo has also led the San Francisco 49ers to the big game, just two seasons ago.
“Me personally, I don’t think we should draft a quarterback.”
Shazier says that the quarterbacks in the current draft class are good but not great.
“The quarterbacks in this draft are good, but I don’t think they’re ‘let me reach for this guy.”
