PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – On the first day since the offensive coordinator switch, a key part of the offense did not practice due to injury on Wednesday.
Receiver George Pickens did not go because of a shin injury. It wasn't something mentioned after the game Sunday and the severity of it is not yet fully known. The only other offensive player to miss was guard Isaac Seumalo, who had a veteran's off day.
Three players were limited on Wednesday
· CB James Pierre (shoulder)
· LB Nick Herbig (hamstring)
· DT Montravius Adams (ankle)-first time back to practice in a couple of weeks
Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick heads the list of those who didn't practice on the defensive side. There was more optimistic talk on Tuesday, but Fitzpatrick unable to go the next day with his hamstring injury. Others who didn't practice were all due to a veteran's day off
· Cam Heyward
· Patrick Peterson
· Levi Wallace
Steelers will practice on Thanksgiving in preparation for Cincinnati on Sunday.
