PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – In wake of the struggles by the offensive line on Saturday, the Steelers added a new offensive tackle Monday.
The team waiving Jordan Tucker for 6'6", 321-pound tackle Adrian Ealy who was recently released by the Rams. Ealy was originally signed by Baltimore as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma last year. The 23-year-old bounced around on the Ravens, Broncos, Rams and Packers practice squads, never appearing in a game.
In October of last year, Ealy was suspended six games off the Ravens practice squad for violating the NFL's drug policy.
A two-time, second-team All-Big 12 tackle with the Sooners. he started his career on the right side and moved over to the left. He was a four-star recruit out of high school in Louisiana and had offers from LSU, Michigan and others.
The 6'6", 340-pound Tucker was a three-year starter at North Carolina and also undrafted.
