PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – A couple of Steelers offensive players have returned to practice Monday with the opportunity to return against the Rams on Sunday.

Receiver Diontae Johnson said before the team left for the bye week that he would play against Los Angeles. Asked if he would return he said 'hell ya'.

"I've been working my behind off these last three, four weeks," Johnson said Wednesday. "Today was one of those days to see how far I've come along. Everything looked great out there to them. I feel completely great and healthy."

Over the last two seasons, Johnson has 193 receptions for 2,043 yards with 104 of those catches going for first downs.

The 24-year-old running back Anthony McFarland is in the final year of his rookie contract and has been dealing with a knee issue, again. He played in two games this year catching a couple of passes for 11 yards against San Francisco. He also gives the Steelers back their starting kick returner. McFarland had returned three for 91 yards this season.

Both still remain on Injured Reserve as the team has a window to see if they can play or will go on long-term IR, ending their seasons.
