PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth said he will see how the practice week plays out but had no issues on the field on Wednesday and did all of his normal stuff. He said it felt good to be out with his teammates and he’s excited for the possibility of playing against Cleveland Sunday.
Freiermuth was listed as limited on Wednesday. The rest of the injury report isn’t as encouraging.
· S Minkah Fitzpatrick (hamstring)-unable to practice as he’s been out since the first quarter of the Jacksonville game
· DL Montravius Adams (ankle)-continues to deal with that injury and did not practice. He’s started the first seven games of the season and has a near career-high 21 tackles with two tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
· S Keanu Neal (ribs)-left the game late in the fourth quarter after a season-high eight tackles and did not practice Wednesday.
· WR Diontae Johnson (thumb)-did not practice, a new injury that happened during the game against Green Bay
· C Patrick Peterson-veteran day off
· DL Cam Heyward (groin)-did not practice
· OL Isaac Seumalo-veteran day off
Steelers practice again on Thursday before leaving for Cleveland Saturday.
